In this comedic short, when a waiter accidentally knocks out boxing champ Tiger Dorsey in Slapsie Maxie's restaurant, Maxie arranges a boxing match between the reluctant waiter and the champ.

Maxie's World is an animated cartoon series about a teenage girl named Maxie in Surfside High School in California. Maxie was a straight A student who produced and hosted her own TV show part time. Based on the "Maxie" line of fashion dolls from Hasbro, this show was broadcast in late '80s and early '90s syndicated to local stations in the United States, and in the UK on TV-am's Wacaday. The U.S. broadcast also included rebroadcasts of Beverly Hills Teens and It's Punky Brewster.Produced for Hasbro by DIC Entertainment, the U.S. broadcast was syndicated by Claster Television, which was owned by Hasbro, the makers of the "Maxie" dolls. Because of this, Hasbro must give approval before any home video release of this series is made. It is unknown when, or if the series will be released on DVD.

When Nick and Jan move into their new apartment in San Francisco, the batty landlady upstairs tells them about a girl who used to live there in the 20's: a brash young party girl named Maxie, who died in a car crash the morning before her big audition for a Hollywood studio. S represents the middle section of the trilogy Körper, S and noBody by Sasha Waltz. The piece acts as a connective link between the investigation of the physical being in »Körper« and the metaphysical being in nobody. While sexuality and Eros are all but absent from these two pieces, with »S« they constitute central themes. The New York musician Jonathan Bepler, renowned for his long-standing collaboration with Matthew Barney on Cremaster Cycle, composed the room-encompassing original music for the production.
